All Is Well

Two factions. Two radically different visions for the colony's survival.

As a disillusioned apprentice, Vune longs for the day her colony abandons its dangerous terraforming project and relocates to a distant but bountiful valley, where everyone can live off of the land. The problem is, dangerous toxins lurk within its soil — at least, that's what the colony's popular but demerited shock-jock would have everyone believe.

To avoid becoming an expendable grunt, Vune must leverage her wit, voice, and flair for political maneuvering to uproot her small colony and wrangle it free of the fearmonger's vice-grip. However, her father — a savvy Councilmember — refuses to release the one piece of evidence that will make her goal possible, forcing her to decide how much she's willing to sacrifice to reach paradise.

A Colony Torn Between Two Futures

The Arkqunots

A verdant valley, rife with actual rain and an abundance of edible florae and faunae. However, some believe it's also plagued by lethal toxics, which will wipe out the colony.

The Flatlands

A hyper-arid caldera that has been terraformed to grow Stage I and II foods. However, to stop the crops from being desiccated, water must constantly be siphoned up from underground caverns.

Vune Intrepid

Dreams of the Arkqunots

Ever since the First Transmission, Vune Intrepid has dreamed of becoming a Hunter in the verdant Arkqunots and tasting meat for the first time. If the colony were to relocate, she and her fellow Apprentices would never again have to risk life and limb searching the arsenic-riddled caverns for new sources of water. Vune is willing to sacrifice it all for a brighter future in the Arkqunots.

Alq Sincerity

Rooted to the Flatlands

As a proud Apprentice to the Irrigation Engineers, Alq loves the deep rumble of the terra augers drilling for fresh pools of water. He and the rest of the Thankful boast they've managed to terraform the hyper-arid Flatlands into agricultural prosperity, allowing their nascent space colony to thrive. But now the colonists are being asked to abandon it all and relocate to the Arkqunots, a toxic and dangerous land.

Wosq Candor

A Demerited Mythmaker

Wosq spends all of her free time creating new holocaptures to rant about the Council, the failures of the Arkqunots Exploratory Commission, and how toxic the verdant valley actually is. However, despite Wosq being demerited, her following continues to grow, as well as her influence upon the colony. Many see her as a prophet and a truth-seeker, while others say she is a pernicious mythmaker.
